Description Hysterectomy forceps. Two symmetrical nickel-plated metal blades are joined by aspetic joint to form scissor-like instrument; handles have circular finger rings; shanks curve outward and are flat on interior and rounded on exterior with ratchet closure near handles; jaws are of conical style, tapering slightly to blunt points; heavy, transverse serrations run along full length of jaws; marked with Kny-Scheerer trademark.
Notes Marked with letter M (Donor's last initial) on shank.
