Chromium-plated steel; fenestrated blades have both cephalic and pelvic curves; shanks are flat and overlapping; shanks join and are held in place by French lock; German lock at top of handles; smooth, black hard rubber handles are slightly curved and short with quarter circle turn at distal ends; no finger grips; marked: "Tiemann" at shank; traction rods attached to blades and held in place by axis-traction handle; ebony axis-traction handle is 12.5cm long.|
