Description Undetermined material, orange and brown color, attached string, plaque describing it

Plaque reads - "The purpose of this block pessary was to occule the O.S. It was described in 1931 as an 'instrument of Torture.'

It is inserted into the vagina in the hope that one of the concave surfaces would fit over the cervix
