The serial number of this device is 469121. The device has a trinocular nosepiece fitted with 3x objectives. The slide holder is adjustable via two knobs (both work). The knob to adjust the tube and the knob to adjust the condenser work as well. The mirror is clear, and the condenser iris functions. There is an eyepiece on the device. The finish of the microscope is all black with chromed knobs and objectives. The finish is in excellent condition. The black false leather coated case is still in good condition as well. The leather handle is quite worn and should not be used to lift the case. The interior of the box is finished in red with blue felt on the points where the microscope contacts the box, and a black sponge over the rear of the microscope. The box contains 1x user manual, a letter from Spencer Co. to Dr. Benyo about the device, 1x page of information on the illuminator, 1x maintenance manual, KLEENSITE optical lens wipes, Clay Adams lens paper, 1x dark blue sack, 1x jar Cargille's non drying immersion oil type B. A "Compass Made in Germany" magnifying lens, 1x electric illuminator no. 612, 1x Abbe condenser, 1x Cardio Condenser in wooden box, and 3x plastic containers with lids for the objectives, 1x eyepiece in the microscope, and 1x eyepiece in the box. |
