Note from Donor: The article "Extraordinary Devices" in the Spring issue of Case Magazine was of particular interest to me since I wore the enclosed Grafenberg Ring for many years, starting in 1949, after the birth of my second child. Dr. Grafenberg, a German jew who left Germany during World War II to practice in New York City, designed this ring before the war. Rumor has it that he based his design on the shape of an IUD used in a much earlier civilization. Using the Grafenber Ring was painless, effective and worry free-except when I had to pass through airport security. It is yours to add to your collection if you would like. Donor was a 1943 graduate of Flora Stone Mather College. |
