Two nickel-plated steel blades are riveted to form tweezer-like instrument with cross-bar handles; joint end is rounded spatula connecting blades which are broadest at mid-section; blades narrow and taper to curved asymmetrical jaws; one jaw is of flat, curved conical style and tapers to a fine, sharp point; upper and lower exterior blades have handles with cross-hatched gripping surface; tension is controlled by use of thukmb and forefinger; instrument is self-clossing; marked: "C.W. KOLBE" |
